Fariba Eshraghi Parmer, OD

Dr. Parmer specializes in the treatment of Dry Eye Disease, and difficult to fit contact lenses for corneal irregularities and ocular surface diseases. Due to her in-depth Dry Eye knowledge, she has brought several new Dry Eye treatment modalities to Eye Consultants of Texas. She completed a fellowship at the renowned Wilmer Eye Institute of Johns Hopkins Hospital, and is well versed in the evaluation and treatment of post-operative cataract surgical patients and those having undergone laser vision correction (LASIK/PRK). In addition, she has studied the effects of nutrition in retinal diseases and continues to incorporate its importance in treating various ocular diseases. Her generous nature exemplifies our one-on-one doctor-patient philosophy in every way.

Jimmy Tran, OD

Dr. Tran is a board certified Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist who manages LASIK, cataract and glaucoma preoperative and postoperative care. He is also experienced in performing specialty contact lens fittings related to kerataconus, high astigmatism, and post corneal grafts. Upon graduating from the New England College of Optometry in 2005, Dr. Tran joined the prestigious Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. He continued his career managing LASIK, cataract and glaucoma preoperative and post-operative care at several renowned ophthalmology clinics. This included working as Clinical Director where he oversaw the training of a team of eye doctors. Dr. Tran’s experience, expertise, and “patients always come first” philosophy make him a welcome addition to our practice.

Gregory Kloesel, OD

In private practice since 1992, Dr. Kloesel is a board certified Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist located in Southlake. Eye Consultants of Texas is fortunate to have Dr. Kloesel working with us. In his years of private practice, he has developed extensive experience in pre-operative and post-operative care of patients who have undergone cataract surgery or Laser Vision Correction (LASIK/PRK). He is accomplished in the management of Dry Eyes and, through his practice, handles difficult to fit contact lens candidates, such as those with Keratoconus. Dr. Kloesel graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry. His numerous honors and recognitions include being named a Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare.

Tim Leach, OD

A New Orleans native, Dr. Leach is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist also specializing in keratoconus, cataract, and refractive surgery care. He is one of a few U.S. optometrists certified to perform RxSight® Light Adjustable Lens treatments and certified in Louisiana in YAG Laser and SLT procedures. Upon earning his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1997 from the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Optometry, he joined Eyecare Associates in New Orleans, and provided geriatric ocular services to local nursing home patients. He became a partner at New Orleans’ St. Charles Vision and has over 20 years of expertise in difficult to fit contact lenses for keratoconus, corneal deformities, and corneal grafts. In addition to applying his various talents and expertise at Eye Consultants of Texas, Dr. Leach lectures nationally for several contact lens companies.
