A Board Certified Ophthalmologist, Dr. Labor is internationally known for his work in refractive surgery, bringing over 20 years of refractive and cataract expertise to Eye Consultants of Texas.

He was the first Texas ophthalmologist to implant the ReZoom premium lens for correcting distance, intermediate and near vision with cataract surgery, and first in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex to implant the Verisyse implantable contact lens. Dr. Labor was the first solo private practitioner in the U.S. to acquire the Ziemer FEMTO LDV for all-laser, blade-free LASIK - and selected to address international leaders on this advanced technology. He was also one of the first to obtain the Galilei corneal mapping system enhancing LASIK precision and safety.

Consistently chosen a Top Doctor by Fort Worth, Texas Magazine, Dr. Labor was also named among "America's Top Ophthalmologists" by the Top Ophthalmologist Consumers' Research Council of America. He is an International College of Surgeons Fellow, a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Other affiliations include the American College of Eye Surgeons, and Society For Excellence in Eye Care.
