We are pleased to announce that Eye Consultants of Texas is a selected site for a new Dry Eye clinical research study. The study is offered through the Eye Consultants Research Foundation to investigate the safety and effectiveness of a new Dry Eye medication.

DryEyeStud_BlogImageAre your eyes dry and uncomfortable at the end of the day? Do they ever feel gritty? Do you keep trying different eye drops, but none seem to help with the discomfort? If so, you may suffer from Dry Eye Syndrome, a very real medical condition that affects nearly 60 million Americans. Dry Eye is caused by a wide range of physiological and environmental factors, which makes it so difficult for eye care professionals to treat.

Phillips Kirk Labor, MD is working to find better treatments for Dry Eye Syndrome. If you have stinging, burning eyes, you could participate in this upcoming Dry Eye clinical research study to investigate the safety and effectiveness of 1% Tavilermide Ophthalmic Solution. The study requires 6 visits over 9 weeks. If you qualify, you may be compensated up to $1,000 for your time, and consult with a specialist to discuss your condition.
